You are my Muse
You asked me what that was
A source of inspiration
You creatively inspire me

I have written poetry
I have penned short stories
The common theme is
They are all about you

Expressing myself effectively
Rather than whinge and whine
Scream, cry, rant and rave
I really need you to hear me

Writing is pretty if done right
Being upset is not attractive
Floral words to communicate
Are much easier to understand

Expressing myself successfully
Is a really hard to do
Why do I do this?
I’d do anything for you

You are more than a Muse
The feelings I have for you
Are up, down and all around
You make me so confused

But comprehend this:
I do not only want you
I adore you…
I crave you…
I need you…
I trust you…
I respect you…
I love you…

I need your attention and affection
I need your praise and love
I want to make you proud of me
I would do anything for you

When you read my words
You should feel my emotions
Understand my motivation
Hear what I need to say to you

Protocol keeps me away
To make life easier for you
This is my only way right now
